Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Bermudagrass is great for lawns challenged by long periods of scorching Southern heat and drought. This blend aggressively spreads to grow a thick, durable lawn. In addition, each seed is wrapped in a unique 4-in-1 WaterSmart® PLUS Coating to keep seed moist 2X longer than uncoated seed, feed to jumpstart growth, and protect against disease. Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Bermudagrass is designed for full sun, and has a fine bladed texture with high drought resistance. It can be used to seed a new lawn, overseed an existing lawn, or repair bare spots. For best results, apply in the late spring or early summer when air temperatures are consistently between 70°F and 90°F and the danger of frost has passed. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product (please refer to spreader settings on product label). Water daily or as needed to keep the soil surface moist until the seedlings reach at least 2 inches tall. One 1 lb. bag of Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Bermudagrass has a new lawn coverage of 330 sq. ft. and an overseeding coverage of 1,000 sq. ft.
