The ALCM Tinners Red Paint is a red oxide, oil based metal primer. This is an interior-exterior enamel that will provide protection after fabrication and while in transit or handling of metals. This ALCM Red Paint will dry to a hard and glossy finish, and is waterproof, scrubbable, and tough. It can also be used on sheet metal, steel, iron, metal flashings, gutters and downspouts.
- Approximately 300 to 400 sq ft. per gallon, depending on application method and porosity of surface being coated
- Mineral spirits as needed to make thinner this will adjust the flow, dry, and surface temperature
- Must be used on clean, dry, free of grease or loose paint surface
- Use with a brush or roller application, but may be sprayed by conventional or airless spray
